My early career and first label signing was primarily for funky dance music. Sadly it didn’t come to fruition as is often the way with record deals and I have a lot of dance tracks written but never developed. So I’m gradually working through the tracks to bring them up to date with a funk touch so that they don’t go to waste.
In the meantime here’s an Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King cover that we turned out. Apparently we got quite a bit of airplay in the clubs that Summer – if only it had been released! x
