Composer

Atheen is a composer and musician with a long history of creating music for broadcast, media and commercial use. Her work spans a wide range of styles, from contemporary and neo-classical music to cinematic, documentary, jazz and atmospheric compositions.

She began creating library music for the VHS market, at a time when demand for affordable production music was rapidly growing, before moving into radio, where her work included jingles that won local awards. Her classical compositions have been used in ballet classes internationally, while her broader catalogue includes music created for film, television, documentary and other media.

Alongside her original compositions, Atheen has created arrangements and recreations of classical works by composers including Tchaikovsky and Beethoven, as well as arrangements of traditional Christmas carols.
