The Entropic Spacetime Field Wave Equation
The Entropic Spacetime Field (ESF) explores whether gravity, cosmic structure and cosmic expansion can emerge from one underlying wave mechanism.
The original concept – that baryons are present throughout spacetime, even in ‘smooth’ regions and are collectively contributing to a gravitational ‘Ripplefield’ over cosmological timescales. Baryonic oscillations generating waves, these waves enforcing one another, propagation, transport.
I kept feeling that a wave equation was the correct answer for what I was attempting to model, but it’s only when I realised that Newtonian gravity and propagation could be achieved from one single mechanism that it all started to fall into place.
New short videos are released each week as the framework develops and will cover all of the various benchmark tests that the framework has been pitted against so far, with some upcoming deep dives on the various tensions that modern cosmology is currently facing, including Bullet cluster, singularities and redshift, and how ESF fares in these tests.
Future Research Path
One of the main tests that I’ll be looking to carry out over the coming weeks is evolving from our plasma-era starting state into post-recombination era and early structure – one continuous, smooth process.
